Andrew in Montauk
January, 2003 cotton fabrics, cotton batting An experiment in photo expansion, my first attempt at incorporating photo transfer into an art quilt. I like the way the edges of the photo show up slightly, and the way the right end of the building really appears to bend forward. The Ocean Beach motel in Montauk is a very special place for my family, it's always been one of Andrew's favorite places.
